All Sermons on this page were originally shared at a Retirement Complex in Newport, Isle of Wight, England by Chris Neal.
As in the case of my book, when I preach and teach, I focus on Holy Scripture and then talk about the specific scripture passage. During my preparation time I ask God to help me know firstly what He wants me to talk about on the specific occasion that I speak, and then to help me to listen to His Holy Spirit to discover what the Scripture He has given me means in the context of today. My aim is to please God and not man. In this politically correct world I seek to uphold the absolute truth of Scripture no matter how the audience might react. I believe that is of paramount importance. I may ask rhetorical questions of the listener and add some of my own views based on personal life experiences. I also use other scriptures to help unlock the meaning of the topic and to help discover ways we can put into practice what God's Holy Word instructs us to do. Much of my preaching focuses on the Gospel message and the need for conviction of sin and repentance.
I pray many of the below sermons will bless you. They will typically take 15 to 20 minutes to read.

I'm also including a link to sermons from All Souls Langham Place (an Anglican church in London) because their expository preaching is excellent...
Their sermon library can be found here: All Souls Sermon Library
Their preachers often discuss the importance and power of repentance and this link will take you to one of my favourite sermons on this important subject. It is based on Luke 13:1-9 and you can fast forward to the Bible reading immediately ahead of the sermon which starts 30 mins 40 seconds into the video here All Souls - Sunday 17th January 2021 09.30 am
